FAQ
LibrarySI is a platform that provides tools, support and inspiration for students to explore, create and share their ideas, discoveries and innovations.
LibrarySI provides a unique opportunity for young scientists to showcase their work with a time stamp of its creation. This public display not only garners appreciation from viewers but also serves as a motivating factor. It also instills a sense of ownership and responsibility for their creations, fostering a mindset of innovation and entrepreneurship. This recognition encourages them to take the next step and officially patent their inventions with IPOS, Singapore and relevant authorities across the world.
Submit your inventions using our user-friendly entry form on the platform. Our dedicated team will review your submission. If everything checks out, we’ll proudly display your innovative ideas in our digital Library for everyone to admire. Your ingenious ideas will be preserved with a timestamp, ensuring that you receive proper credit for your clever creations. Plus, they’ll be securely stored for safekeeping.
Yes, we encourage student scientists in Grades 4 – 8.
No, it is absolutely free of cost for students to participate and showcase their work with us. We are committed to providing an accessible and inclusive platform for young scientists to express their creativity and innovation without any financial barriers.
As Albert Einstein once said, “The only thing that you absolutely have to know is the location of the library.” While parents and guardians may not directly participate in activities with their children on our platform, they can certainly guide and support them in their educational journey. Our platform is designed to encourage independent exploration and learning among young scientists, but the involvement of parents and guardians in fostering a love for knowledge is invaluable.
At LibrarySI, we offer motivating incentives for young scientists to participate enthusiastically. We issue a hard-copy certificate for every 10 new entries submitted with us. This certificate acknowledges their commitment to exploring and sharing their innovative ideas. These incentives help celebrate and recognise the efforts and creativity of our young participants.
Your creations take a few days to be published because, at LibrarySI, we prioritize the data security and well-being of our users. This delay allows our team to carefully review all uploaded ideas and images to ensure they are appropriate for sharing with the community. If you’re wondering why your work hasn’t been published yet, please rest assured that our team will get in touch with you soon. Alternatively, you can reach out to us via email if you have any concerns.
